We are a Creative House working at the intersection of art x culture x design, to create visual outputs that leave an imprint on the world. The brands we work with aren’t looking for a fast and furious supply of content or creative assets that look like everyone else’s, they want a carefully considered visual world that supports their business longer-term.  They want layers and nuance, with space to evolve and to play.  They want the work that gives them a place in culture.

SHAPED BY THE WORLD OF FASHION AND MUSIC

We’ve grown out of the culturally-rich world of fashion and music and that influences our design philosophy, the way we think, the creative talent we work with and every part of our process. 

  • What it feels like:
    This phase is about immersive cultural exploration, a journey of discovery where we collaboratively dive deeply into the world of inspiration. It’s not just about understanding the brief and the brand via the founders eyes, but about exploring art, music, fashion, and other cultural elements that align with the project’s path. The tone in this phase is playful, open, and curious, emphasizing shared discovery.

    How we do it:

    At the start of the project, we set a 1H session to get to know you and your brand’s ethos, explore cultural references and elements, that will inform our next phase. There’’s no right or wrong here, it’s an immersive yet playful exploration.

  • What it feels like:
    In this phase, Heima distills all the gathered inspirations into a defined narrative or strategic direction. This process is intuitive yet methodical, focusing on synthesizing insights into a cohesive vision. It’s about aligning Heima’s artistic sensibilities with your brand, identifying the emotional and cultural tone that will drive the project.

    How we do it:
    We solidify the brand’s core identity and position. The process would involve defining brand values, tone of voice, and key visual elements. It’s about ensuring that the brand stands out in the cultural landscape.

  • What it feels like:

    The Concept phase is Heima’s playground—this is where experimentation and creative flow come into full force. It’s a time of rich ideation, to create a visual world. There’s a sense of fearless exploration in finding the most compelling way to express the project’s narrative.

    How we do it:
    We will present a full visual identity that includes logos, colour scheme, typography, and imagery direction over a 30min live session.

  • What it feels like:

    The tone shifts to precision and refinement, where every detail is honed. Ensuring that the execution maintains the integrity of the original vision while being meticulously crafted.

    How we do it:

    This is a purely creative moment where we take in consideration your feedback and refine accordingly.

  • How it feels like:

    More than just handing over files; it’s about ensuring that every element of the visual world we’ve created is delivered with care, precision, and attention to detail. It’s a smooth, confident handoff that feels as considered as the design process itself.

I founded Heima in 2017 with the intention to create space for designers and brands that value nuance, depth and creativity in the process as much as the final outcome. I work collaboratively with brand partners that need to shape their visual identity in a way that is unique and true to them, and speaks the same language as the community they want to attract.

Drawing from my fashion and visual communication studies, I worked for brands in the fashion, travel, luxury and music spaces, partnering with Founders and teams to create visual identities from scratch, or helping them give a fresh perspective to their existing visual world. Always with passion, and great collaborative energy.

  • You have us for 1 full week to work on graphic design assets you’ve been holding off for a while. These includes social media templates, presentation design, brand concepts or any other marketing assets you might need.

    Duration: 1 week

    Investment: 700 GBP

  • Over the course of 2 weeks we’ll work together on the visual identity for your brand. This includes art direction, logo design, typography, colour scheme and photography direction. We will deliver all the tools and assets you need to start or refresh your brand image.

    Duration: 2 WEEKS

    Investment: 2500 GBP

  • A more advanced option for brands who are ready to invest more in a complete visual identity project. It includes Art Direction, Logo and Monograms, Typography, Colour Scheme, Photography Direction, Templates of choice and Branding Guidelines.

    Duration: 5 WEEKS

    Investment: 4000 GBP
